Educated at the Columbus College of Art and Design, Chris began his career as an illustrator for young reader’s literary publisher, Seedling Publications. Continuing to perfect his style, Chris ventured into the genre’ of fantasy illustration. Experimenting with photography, light, color and design, Chris uses his preferred medium of oil paint to create what he considers “stylized realism”.

Chris’ work has attracted such clients in the fantasy and gaming industry as Upper Deck / Blizzard Entertainment, Wizards of the Coast and Alderac Entertainment Group. His work has been featured in Dragon Magazine and has co-written, and illustrated, a "How to Draw" book published by F&W Publications Inc. titled Wreaking Havoc: How to Create Fantasy Warriors and Wicked Weapons.

Chris’ work has been received and recognized by the Society of Illustrator NYC and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
